This position is for Electronic Test Services department. We are
looking for a senior Test Engineer to lead our support for test
equipment in Bintan factory and Singapore Repair & Overhaul site.
This position will be responsible for:
- Interfacing with test operators, troubleshoot technicians, and operations managers to identify and resolve Test related issues
- Implementing common processes and tool deployment
- Establishing Preventative Maintenance procedures
- Identifying test equipment obsolescence issues and helping work resolutions to these problems
- Closely work with Calibration Lab to maintain all equipments in top gear
Additional responsibilities will include the development of
efficient troubleshooting processes, root cause test failures, and
identify trends in test equipment failures.
This position will require a candidate who is agile and can adjust
work and priorities quickly based on input / feedback from various
sources including: factory leads, test operators and Programs and
Operations Managers.
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent bachelors of science degree
- Seven years engineering experience
- Previous experience in a test related support function
- Project Management experience
- Minimum 2 year Team lead experience
- Minimum 3 year Aerospace or relevant industry exposure preferred
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with production Final Acceptance Testing
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (VXI, GPIB, etc.)
- Trouble shooting experience & systems knowledge
- Programming skills. Due to the diversity of programming languages
and test executives, experience in all areas is not expected, but a
wide background in languages/scripting is very helpful. Specific skills
being sought: C, LabView, LabWindows, Test Stand, heavy scripting (JAX
is ideal)
- Past experience with test fixture & cable troubleshoot
- Familiar with ATR test platforms (STS-xxxx, ATEC, Vector, STZ, FMSTP, etc.) is a plus
- Knowledge of ATR & BGA products a plus
- Familiarity with aircraft systems and I/O protocols (A429, A629, AFDX, CAN, etc.) a plus
- Experience with Calibration Lab operation a plus.
- Experience with Environment test equipments preferred.
