Sekupang: The West Batam Gateway

Sekupang Ferry Terminal is the gateway to Batam's Waterfront City resort strip, where you'll find Holiday Inn Resort Batam by IHG, Harris Resort Waterfront, and Tempat Senang Boutique Hotel & Spa. The terminal is quieter and less congested than Batam Centre, making it a more relaxed arrival experience — particularly useful on busy weekends.

From the Sekupang terminal, most Waterfront City resorts are 15–20 minutes away by Grab or taxi. The fare runs IDR 30,000–50,000 (approximately SGD 2.50–4.50). Resort shuttles are available from Holiday Inn and Harris on request — confirm at the time of booking.
